EarCentric Hearing Aid - Melody

Purchased these for my wife few days back. The instructional manual is so detailed and has all the pictures too so my wife had a easy time setting them up. Within few minutes of setting it up, She wore them and tried to adjust the channel and volume position as per her hearing. She was amazed at the sound quality and how amazing the volume controls are. I have written a review in the last year too about earcentric hearing aids. I can now hear lots of voices like bird chirping, dogs bark and can talk to people in normal voice without shouting. Within the past month I thought that the device quit working as I couldn't hear sounds near me but it was my mistake. I expected that I had been cleaning everything with the black handled solid wire but I missed the very thin clear wire to clean the long tube from the unit to my ear. I sent an email regarding this to Medininja on the weekend, I got a call from them on Monday morning for a follow-up. I got to know the reason over the call and the customer support service representative is so sweet that instead of calling me dumb she explained everything so politely again and gave me a number so that I can contact her if in case I face any issue in future. And the surprising thing is when I checked my mailbox, they had sent me a return label in case there occurs any type of issue with the device. I will give the genuine reason of giving 4 stars. I was very doubtful about these hearing aids but there were so many positive reviews about these aids so I decided to give them a try also because of their return policy. While buying, I was not sure how these will gonna work for my hearing loss. It does work well. If you are watching TV with a number of people who mumbles all the time, it does work but not 100%. I can do my one on one conversations easily. I have faced one strange situation as I purchased only one aid. When I get it in, it feels like the other ear blocks. I know this must not be the fault of the aids, and I need to buy for the other ear too. These are quite easy to wear and use as I was feared after reading the reviews. I recommend these to those who have mild to moderate hearing loss. The battery lasts at least for a week which is not bad at all. (Posted on 5/8/2018)

I love the device and it works perfectly. For me, the hardest part was having a conversation to a young woman with a high, soft voice in a crowded hotel. I had an amazing experience and I didn't ask her to repeat again and again - "What you said?"
Amazing value at such an affordable price. The only reason I don't want to give it 5 stars is that I found them fiddly to some extent. The customer support service is good and they have always solved my problems patiently. I am using the aids for the first time so I can't compare this with any other aids.

Been using these since March and couldn’t be happier. Best part: I can hear the television without turning it up to full volume. These are much more affordable than the average hearing aid and I honestly couldn’t be happier with them.

My EarCentric SMART is now two years old. Though it failed once last year, but it was replaced in two days under warranty with no question asked. My wife’s hearing aids developed same problem yesterday and we send an email to support about the problem. Six hours later we received an email outlining the steps we need to take to correct the problem. You rare see this kind of support anywhere. This is commendable. They offer valuable product with excellent support. This is gold! Thank you.

I bought a set of the Melody units in November last year and they have been excellent, very economical on batteries, only on my third battery.

Thank you so much for giving me my hearing back. It has been over one year and my hearing aids are amazing and simple to use. The only minor issue is stores like BJs and Lowes have door sensors that give me a second of interference. Other than that I love my hearing aids! (Posted on 4/17/2016)

Even with mild hearing loss, I never expected to hear so well when I first put in my new hearing aid. They outshine my current pair. I was stunned at how well the adjustments they made worked for me. I am big on reviewing every product I buy. From tires and tools, to peanut butter and, of course, my hearing aids. I must have read through hundreds of online reviews before deciding to purchase my Melody hearing aids from MediNinja. When I first tried them, I wasn’t sure if they were going to work for me but was I surprised! I love everything about these hearing aids and my only complaint would be that I have to take them out to shower. Just checking in to say how happy I am with my EarCentric hearing aids. I am not a good candidate for hearing aids as I am 84 and have had physical damage to my right ear. For those of you who know about hearing aids, you know that they have to fit properly or they won’t work well. The EarCentric Hearing Aid (Melody) hearing aids fit me well and are adjustable enough to give me a snug fit that helps me hear well and makes life much more comfortable for those around me.
